Fake brokers
A rate con arrives from a spoofed or lookalike email domain. You haul the load, and nobody pays.
Trucking management software
Rate confirmations are screened for fraud before they ever become loads. Driver pay is built from approved loads, not spreadsheets. Dispatch, billing and settlements in one system, plus a driver app.
Built for carriers running dozens to hundreds of trucks.
Sample data for illustration.
The problem
Margins are razor thin, and the losses hide in email inboxes, spreadsheets and hours nobody bills.
A rate con arrives from a spoofed or lookalike email domain. You haul the load, and nobody pays.
A broker you’ve never worked with, or a familiar broker writing from a brand-new address, is how double brokering and fake loads get in.
Trucks sit for hours, but without timestamps it’s your word against the shipper’s, and the detention never gets billed.
When one person can create a load, edit a rate and approve pay, mistakes and fraud slip through, and drivers end up calling about their checks.
Every dollar has a source, an approver and a record.
Rate cons are read and filled in for you, with every value traced to where it came from. Unauthenticated senders and lookalike broker domains are blocked; unknown brokers and new addresses are flagged. A person approves every one, and approval is the only way a load gets created.
Money fields must be confirmed before approval, and every change is logged with who made it and when. Dispatch can’t change pay rates, and billing can’t dispatch trucks.
Settlements are calculated from approved loads, per mile or percentage, with deadhead, detention, advances, escrow and chargebacks handled. Drivers get accurate pay and you get fewer disputes.

Two ways in today: open rigcrest.com in the phone’s browser and tap Sign in, or add RigCrest to the home screen from the browser’s menu so it opens full-screen like any other app. Either way it’s the same sign-in everyone uses. Their carrier adds them first, and they set their own password from the link they’re sent.

Sample data.
Brokers email rate cons to your RigCrest address, the same way they do today. Fields are filled in automatically, and each value shows where it came from in the document.
Unauthenticated senders and lookalike domains are blocked. Unknown brokers and new addresses are flagged. A dispatcher confirms the money fields and approves, and the load is created with a permanent record.
Pay is calculated from approved loads and delivery events, so settlements match what actually happened on the road.

Estimated value to your fleet
$3,766 a month
$45,194 a year, or $151 per truck each month
Pricing depends on fleet size and is quoted at setup. Hold your quote up against this number.
Plus the fraud you never see coming. One fake-broker load costs the whole run and pays nothing. At ATRI’s average of $2.26 a mile, a 500-mile load is about $1,130 gone.
Become a Founding CarrierHow we estimate: loads per month = trucks × loads per week × 4.33. Detention assumes 39% of loads see detention (ATRI found it at 39.3% of stops) with 2 billable hours each, times the share you miss today. Data entry assumes 10 minutes saved per rate con. These are estimates for planning, not a guarantee. Sources: ATRI detention study (2024), ATRI operational costs (2025).

Why I built RigCrest
I’ve spent my career in payroll software and IT systems, helping businesses pay their people accurately and keep their data secure. In trucking, rate cons live in email inboxes and settlements live in spreadsheets, and that’s where carriers lose money.
RigCrest is the system I’d want if my name were on the paychecks: every load verified, every dollar traceable, every driver paid right.
Carriers running dozens to hundreds of trucks, with owners, dispatchers, billing and drivers all working in one system.
Each carrier’s data is walled off at the database level, not just hidden in the app. Passwords are stored with strong one-way hashing, and roles control who can see pay.
We set up your company, drivers, equipment and your own rate con email address with you, so brokers keep emailing the way they already do. Drivers, trucks and brokers can come straight in from a spreadsheet.
Pricing depends on your fleet size and is quoted when we set you up — no published tiers you have to reverse-engineer. Tell us how many trucks you run and we will put a number in front of you, and hold it up against the savings calculator above.
We’re onboarding a small group of carriers first. Here’s what you get for joining early:
